My core values are compassion, connection, curiosity, and play. These are the way I show up as a human and as a therapist. Therapy with me is meant to be relational and co-regulating, where there is room for curiosity, exploration, and even a little play alongside the deeper, sometimes harder work.
I want to support you in making the therapy space feel grounding and supportive. Once we have built trust, I may gently invite in challenges, helping you explore the parts of yourself that have been carrying old patterns.
My hope is to offer a different kind of therapy experience, one that can feel like a deep exhale for your nervous system, cozy and warm, while still holding space for the messy, wild, and playful parts of being human. Together, we will work toward a therapy experience that feels alive, relational, and in your own rhythm.
I believe therapy works best when it is tailored to you, and together we always start by building trust and creating a sense of safety in our relationship. From there, we explore ways of working that support both you and your nervous system.
I draw from traditional talk therapy while also weaving in approaches like Polyvagal Theory, EMDR, Somatic Parts Work, yoga therapy, and nature-based practices. In session, we practice skills together, and I often offer exercises or reflections for you to explore between sessions, because so much of the healing happens outside of the therapy room.
Therapy takes time. Your nervous system needs space to unlearn old coping patterns and find new ways of belonging and showing up in life. I am here to be alongside you as you explore, grow, and reconnect with yourself.
If you are interested in working together, you can start by filling out the contact form. My assistant or I will then reach out to schedule a brief intake call. This call is your opportunity to ask questions, learn more about the therapy process, and decide what feels right for you.
If it feels like a good match for both of us, we will get you set up in the client portal and send over the necessary paperwork. The first session, or intake session, is a time to share your story, explore what brought you to therapy, and discuss what you hope to gain from this experience. Together, we will determine the frequency of sessions. I typically encourage weekly sessions for the first one to three months, then we reassess. Sessions are typically 55 minutes in length.
